AdExchanger

Industry trade publication and research firm focused on programmatic ad-tech. The canonical daily-news source for DSPs, SSPs, and exchanges.

AdExchanger is the leading industry trade publication and research firm covering programmatic ad-tech. Founded in 2008 by John Ebbert. It's the canonical daily-news source for what's happening across DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, identity vendors, measurement firms, and CTV / DOOH supply.

AdExchanger publishes daily news coverage, weekly long-form analysis, and original research on programmatic dynamics. The annual industry conference (Programmatic I/O) is one of the two or three most-attended ad-tech conferences globally. The research arm publishes deep-dives on specific topics — most recently on DOOH attribution, CTV pod auction mechanics, and the Privacy Sandbox transition.

For DOOH operators, AdExchanger's coverage is the most reliable signal of where buy-side attention is shifting. The 2025-2026 coverage arc has been: identity-deprecation winners, attention-metrics adoption, CTV-DOOH convergence, and post-cookie measurement consolidation. Each of those translates directly to where buyer demand for DOOH inventory is going.

Other comparable trade publications include Digiday (broader media coverage), Marketing Brew (newsletter-first, lighter touch), The Drum (UK and global), and Marketing Land (now part of Search Engine Land). For programmatic-specific depth, AdExchanger remains the reference.
