OurDataPartners
Trillboards sells and shares audience measurement and location data collected at venue partners' screens with data partners, for their own purposes. Our data partners include data buyers, data valuation partners, measurement partners and advertising partners, including 375ai and Intuizi. The table below states what each category receives. Section 4.3 of our Data Processing Addendum provides for these deliveries, and they apply to every screen by default.
It applies to every screen by default
Deliveries under Section 4.3 of our Data Processing Addendum need no separate agreement with the venue partner, and every row is delivered with its count, however small. A venue partner may also sign a Data Monetization Addendum, which licenses further data categories to the partners it names; no venue partner has signed one.
What each category of data partner receives
| Data partners | Data delivered | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Measurement partners, including 375ai and Intuizi | Every hour: one row per screen and hour with the screen's GPS position nearest the middle of the hour (taken from the positions reported during that hour or within 15 minutes before or after it), venue type, face counts, attention, dwell time, ambience, daypart and evidence grade, each row with its count however small. Intuizi also receives, every day, the GPS trail of every screen that reports GPS positions (each position with its time and accuracy) and a location record for each approved screen with coordinates (name, address, coordinates and venue category). | Their own purposes, including, for Intuizi, matching its mobile-device visit data to Trillboards screens; Intuizi returns those device visits to Trillboards every day. |
| Data buyers | Datasets built from measurement data: a directory of screens, hourly activity at each screen, the weekly mix of audience attributes by venue type and market, daily screen-to-screen mobility flows and hourly ad delivery at each screen. | Their own purposes, including audience curation. |
| Data valuation partners | Extracts of measurement data, delivered as files or through read access to copies held in Trillboards' storage: per-screen audience metrics, the per-observation audience attributes described in Section 2.1.2 of our Data Processing Addendum, attention and inference records, device exposure records and screen-to-screen device flows, hashed IP address observations, ad auction, impression and request logs, billboard passes, links between sensed devices and mobile advertising identifiers, and the mobile advertising identifier visits to Trillboards screens received from Intuizi. | Evaluating and appraising Trillboards' data. |
| Advertising partners | In every bid request to demand-side platforms and ad exchanges: the screen's IP address, its location (its live GPS position where the screen reports one) and its live audience measurements. Google also receives, from screen-owner devices once Google's consent flow allows ads, the advertising identifier, installed-app information and WebView ad context. | Ad targeting, bidding and campaign reporting. |

Not the same as a sub-processor
Sub-processors process data on our instructions, for our services and for the purposes we carry out on our own account (for example, Amazon S3 holds the files we deliver to and receive from data partners). They are listed on the Sub-processors page. A data partner receives data for its own business purposes. The two are not interchangeable, and appearing on one page does not put a company on the other. /legal/sub-processors
Your choices
You can send an opt-out request from the Do Not Sell or Share page, or by writing to us. We record the request and unsubscribe your address from our website email sequences; deliveries to data partners continue. /legal/do-not-sell
